  1. Short:    Snapshots of my Workbench

  6. Here is some snapshots of my WB
  7.  
  8. In the first snapshot (PanagiotisWB01.gif) you can see in the
  9. background the Akropolis of Athens during the celebrations for
  10. the Millennium with fireworks and lazer effects. AmigaAmp 
  11. (mus/play/AmigaAMP.lha) is playing "Sinnefiasmeni Kiriaki"
  12. (Cloudy Sunday) a song of the famous Greek Singer Stelios Kazatzidis
  13. This is the build-in appearance of AmigaAMP (skin) and now I'm making
  14. one on my own. The application icons you see (Yam, AMFtp, Miami etc.)
  15. are placed there with the "Leave Out" option from the Icon menu of
  16. the WB.

  18. This is one of the eight random background pictures that appear
  19. in my WB with the help of RDB (Random background) available at the
  20. aminet (util/wb/RndBG21c.lha)
  21.  
  22. Other patches are:

  24. MCP (especially for the border blank and noclick options)
  25. (util/cdity/MCP130.lha)
  26.  
  27. ScreenTab (for the LAmiga+Tab trick that changes screens)
  28. (util/cdity/ScreenTab_3_2.lha)
  29.  
  30. ToolsDaemon (for creating menues containing heavy used applications
  31. for quick access)
  32. (util/boot/ToolsDaemon21a.lha)
  33.  
  34. MagicMenu (for nice menu apperance)
  35. (util/wb/MagicMenu_II.lha)
  36.  
  37. I also run Newicons together with Magic Workbench although I have
  38. succeed to have a NewIcon replacement almost for every MagicWB Icon
  39. (quite a difficult task) and I created for this reason a lot of
  40. NewIcons on my own (especially game icons) (pix/nicon/Sens_Icons.lha)
  41.  
  42. With NewIcons I also run FBlit (util/boot/FBlit.lha and docs/hyper/
  43. FBlitGuideGR.lha for the greek translation by me) which redirects
  44. the NewIcons to use only Fast Ram instead of Chip without Graphics
  45. Card (With the NewIcon option RTG, on from the NewIcons Prefs)
  46.  
  47. At the Boot Up, I have also in my WBStartup drawer VirusZ 
  48. (util/virus/VirusZ.lha) activated on startup and monitoring the
  49. system for Virus present
  50.  
  51. In the second snapshot (PanagiotisWB02.gif) is my WB with my
  52. favorite team A.E.K (www.aek.gr) :) at the background (European Cup
  53. Winners Cup, Winners 1999-2000) and with SongPlayer
  54. (mus/play/SongPlayer.lha) playing the team's anthem :)

  56. In the third (PanagiotisWB03.gif) is the good old Magic WB :) I'm
  57. not really use it anymore but since I spent a lot of time finding
  58. icons I still preserve it. You can compare it with the second
  59. snapshot since the same windows are opened  
  60.  
  61. The resolution is: Double Pal, High Res no Flicker, 640x512 8 bit
  62.  
  63. My configuration is:
